Firo Spark Assets coming to Testnet soon
Spark Assets will be moving to the Firo Testnet soon. Spark Assets allow users to issue their own privacy-preserving assets - that will enjoy the same privacy features as Spark, including the ability to hide asset types, and all assets - including Firo - will contribute to a shared anonymity set, improving privacy for everyone using the Firo infrastructure. Improvements to Spark Names coming soon
Spark Names officially launched on May 28, 2025!
Spark Name ownership transfers - plus other Spark Name improvements - will be coming in the next hard fork estimated to be at the end of September.

TrueCert Spark Names intregration
TrueCert, an open scoped toolkit and community platform in early beta has integrated Spark Names as an alternative to their regular username. It is intended that the Spark Name registration allows TrueCert ecosystem users to use Firo or Spark Assets within it privately and serves as a globally unique identifier. TrueCert is intending to open a free tier soon so stay tuned.
