Firo Frontier provides a brief summary of what's been happening in Firo over the past two weeks.
Bnance delisted Firo on April 16th as planned - the Firo project is as strong as ever
Bnance (purposely misspelt as the proper name is banned in our newsletter software lol) delisted FIRO from its exchange on April 16, 2025, as planned.
The Firo project is as strong as ever and Firo’s price recovery, since the delisting, continues as expected, allowing organic price discovery without artificial liquidity requirements and removal of the monitoring tag stigma.
Just a reminder - please get your FIRO off Bnance NOW – move it to your QT, Campfire, or Stack Wallet where it belongs. Remember - Not your keys, not your crypto. Don't let Bnance dump it for you (their deadline for removal is June 16th). You should only keep your Firo on an exchange while you are trading it.

Additional reminder - you should convert your BEP20-Firo to native Firo ASAP as well since this is Bnance's wrapped version of FIRO and is not native FIRO. BEP20 FIRO lacks privacy features, is not real FIRO and is just a Bnance-issued IOU, and also doesn’t support Firo’s Spark/privacy features.
Firo will be giving more focus to exchanges that embrace crypto privacy - Check out MEXC, CoinEX, HTX, Gateio, Biconomy, TradeOgre, NonKYC and more. Or even better - try out more decentralized options like Wizardswap, FiroDEX, Bison wallet or BasicSwapDEX!

DEX support of Firo is growing!
A community member has hosted a FiroDEX (based on Komodo Wallet) instance at https://www.firodex.fans
Bison Wallet (formerly known as DCRDex) now has official support for Firo and also has its market making bot working since its latest release.
Firo’s Spark Shielded pool increases from 700K to over 2.5M Firo
Firo's Spark shielded pool has increased from 700K to over 2.5M Firo in the past few weeks. This increase in the use of Spark protected Firo significantly increases the size of the anonymity sets and improves privacy for all Firo Spark users.
Spark Names will officially launch at block 1,104,500, expected around May 28, 2025!
Spark Names has been fully tested and is now ready to be implemented on Firo’s mainnet at block 1,104,500, expected around May 28, 2025!
Action Required:
To ensure a smooth transition, all QT (Desktop) users must upgrade to Firo v0.14.14.1 before the activation block.
Watch for updates for Campfire Wallet and Stack Wallet by the activation date or shortly thereafter.

Wizardswap have enabled Spark address support
The peeps at Wizardswap.io have enabled Spark address support - which means you can swap in and out of Firo with full privacy! This is the first swap provider that has integrated Spark addresses in their product.

Despite recent events, we're still building, innovating, and pushing forward — because privacy never stops - and neither do we. The current major highlight is that Spark Names has been fully tested and is now ready to be implemented on Firo’s mainnet at block 1,104,500, expected around May 28, 2025!

ETHDam representation: Reuben, Firo’s Project Steward will be speaking on the main stage at EthDAM, a conference focused on privacy, security and AI. His talk will be focusing on the fight for the middle ground in web3 privacy.
Privacy Roundtable - April event postponed until May
The April Privacy Roundtable featuring Edge Wallet has been postponed until May. The usual participants Firo.org ParticlProject, BasicSwapDEX and PIVX will be joined by special guest EdgeWallet later this month.Future guests in June/July will include MieleDVPN and Ghost_Privacy.
